You have been granted permission by the administrator to submit (and edit) new venues.
To identify yourself as an authorized user, you must first log in.
Creating a new venue:
In all JEM menus, there is (usually) an icon in the upper right corner that leads to the "Submit Venue" menu.
There is also a "Submit Venue" menu item if it has been created by the administrator in the backend.
You will be taken to an "Add Venue" page.
At the top, you will find the two buttons "Save" and "Cancel," which allow you to either save or cancel the venue you are creating below.
Next, there is a tabbed section with five sub-tabs: General, Advanced, Publish, Attachments, and More.
The 'General' tab includes: (Address, Geodata, Venue Description)
General: You must select a venue name as a minimum.
You can, of course, fill in more information directly or continue under "Edit an Event."
``` If you already know these details, you can enter them immediately.
Now simply save everything using the button at the top. Everything else is optional!
Once you save, the location will appear in the location selection and also in the Simple Location List (and elsewhere).
Clicking the location's title will take you to its detailed view.
Editing an Existing Location
Open the Simple Location List and select the location you want to edit by clicking on it.
This will take you to the details view of the selected location.
If you have editing rights, you will see an "Edit" icon next to the location.
Clicking this icon will take you to the "N. (Title Name) is being edited" page.
This page contains all the information already entered. You can add to or modify the information.
It is important to save your changes in the upper left corner after making them.
Geographic Data:
Selecting the checkpoint will display the entered map point on a map selected by the administrator.
Depending on the tools selected by the administrator, you may find additional information here.
Enter the exact address and/or, if applicable, the coordinates.
Location Description:
The location description can help visitors find it.
Advanced
In addition to the 'General' tab, there are further tabs offering advanced options.
The second tab under the 'Advanced' tab opens with a click and displays: Image, URL.
Image: A picture of the location (e.g., an exterior shot) can help with finding it.
URL: If the location has its own website, a link to it is helpful. Important: The entire address must be included with https://.
Publish
Another tab is 'Publish'.
In the status, a location can be made public or hidden.
Regarding the metadata (for search engines), it is recommended to only change anything if you know exactly what you are doing. The default settings are usually sufficient.
Attachments
If enabled by the administrator in the backend, posters and flyers, for example, can be made available for users to download here.
More
There are a maximum of 10 custom fields, which can also be named specifically by the administrator.
Renaming fields must be coordinated with the administrator!
